1. Introduction

Welcome to our auction platform (“auction.roadsterdiner.com”). By accessing or using this Website, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please stop using the Website immediately.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter binding contracts to participate in auctions.

3. Account Registration

You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information
  • Keep your login credentials confidential
  • Take full responsibility for all activity under your account

We may suspend accounts that violate our rules or show suspicious activity.

4. Bidding Rules

  • All bids are binding
  • When you place a bid, you enter a legally enforceable obligation to purchase the item if you win
  • You may not withdraw a bid unless there is a verified technical error
  • You may not artificially inflate prices or bid using fake or duplicate accounts

5. Payment Authorization Holds

When placing a bid:

  1. A temporary pre-authorization hold is placed on your payment method to verify available funds
  2. If another user outbids you, the hold is released, although it may take your bank 1–7 business days to update your balance
  3. If you place multiple bids or bid on several items, your bank may reserve multiple amounts, which may reduce your available balance
  4. Banks may decline further holds or temporarily block your card if:
    • Too many authorizations occur
    • Your available balance becomes insufficient
    • Your card issuer detects unusual activity

We are not responsible for delays in releasing funds, as this is controlled by your bank.

6. Winning an Auction

If you win an auction:

  • You must complete payment immediately or within the timeframe stated on the item page
  • Failure to pay may result in:
    • Item forfeiture
    • Account suspension
    • Loss of bidding privileges

7. Item Descriptions & Warranty

  • Items are sold “as is” unless clearly stated otherwise
  • We do not guarantee item condition, authenticity, or suitability unless explicitly stated

8. Prohibited Activities

You agree not to:

  • Attempt to manipulate auction outcomes
  • Disrupt or hack the Website
  • Use automated tools to place bids
  • Fraudulently dispute payments

9. Limitation of Liability

We are not liable for:

  • Loss of profit or data
  • Banking delays involving authorization holds
  • Any damages resulting from use of the Website or auction items

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Website constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
